Won't Someone Please Think of the Incumbents?

As New Yorkers get ready to head to the polls, they're confronted with the decision of whether their incumbent legislators have served as capable stewards of their hard-earned money or whether it's time to reject our hostile tax scheme and put an end to fraudulent, wasteful, and secret spending.

The utter dysfunction and dismal performance that saturate Albany are enough to discourage any incumbent lawmaker. Thankfully, the Office of Incumbent Motivational Services is watching out for lugubrious legislators.

On a recent trip to Albany, I came upon a number of inspiring motivational posters that line the walls of the Capitol Building. Hey, whatever helps get them through the session without succumbing to crippling desolation at the thought of their stunning performance failures.
