Welcome to Flip4NY Running Mates!
On each of the final 50 days of the campaign, Flip will be running through the 26th District with a group of supporters.
Each run will take a different route across, up, down, or fully around the district and each day will focus on a different reason why Flip is running.
To join the Running Mates, all you have to do is show up at the next run. You can run with us every day, once a week, or whenever you feel like getting in a good workout.
Runners of all abilities are welcome. We'll be running at a moderate pace for between 2 and 4 miles on the weekday runs and between 6 and 13 miles on the longer, weekend runs. If you're unsure about your running stamina, join us first on one of the weekday runs, which will equate to about a half hour of moderate aerobic exercise.
New York is a great city for road running - it's a beautiful mix of flat and hilly, concrete and grass, neighborhoods and waterfronts. We hope you'll come enjoy it with us.
